PK students are working hard on their "Color Books". They were visited this week by Mr. Mac the RED Bear, who brought a RED suitcase full of his favorite RED things. The student's enjoyed RED Kool-Aid (Mr. Mac's favorite drink) and painted red cherries with RED Kool-Aid Scratch & Sniff watercolor paint.
Kool-Aid Paint Recipe
1 Tbs unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix
(Mr. Mac the RED Bear's favorite flavor is cherry.)
1 Tbs warm water
Q-tip
Mix water and unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix together in a small bowl. Use a Q-tip to dip in the "paint" and use as a brush for your picture. Allow the finished work to dry overnight. Scratch and sniff your picture the next day to smell the Kool-aid flavor.
Kindergarten created the last of their "thumb print" people this week. Can you guess what each thumb print person is doing?
